MPT Group unveils I-Quilt for easier quilting

Ease of use, versatility and market-leading software are among the benefits claimed for the Matramatic I-Quilt multi-needle chain stitch quilting machine launched by MPT Group.
I-Quilt is ideal for mattress panels, upholstery, bedspreads and comforters and comes with the company’s own I-Design software to create bespoke designs for continuous quilting as well as jump and tack design options.
The software includes more than 180 designs pre-installed.
Other features include auto thread-break detection, 25.4mm needle spacing and a quilting thickness up to 80mm.
MPT Group manufactures more than 30 machines, covering all stages of mattress production, under the brands Matramatic, Fanghanel, Dimegrove and more recently the revolutionary Infinity Sleep Support System ™ with its 45%-plus reduction in unit material costs.
Among the first customers for I-Quilt in the UK are Kozeesleep and Shirebeds, with a number of other high profile producers soon to take delivery their I-Quilt systems.
